| The recepients of the grant with the VIP |
ECOLIFE basecamp once again played host to the Ministry of Women, Family and Community programme when the it distributed free grants to the Semai in Pos Betau on Jan 7, 2012.
The recepients of the programme received grants in the form of freezer, fridge, chiller, rice cooker, sewing machine, racks, tables, chairs, dough mixer, double burners, kuali, weighing machines, etc,etc, all designed to assist the Semai to kick start their business in an effort to raise their household income.
The Ministry was represented by Political Secretary Y.Bhg Dato' Suhaimi, who together with Jelai ADUN Y.B. Dato' Wan Rosdy gave away the grants. The visitors were later served lunch with Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak as its speciality.
